Chicago Landmarks Meeting

A representative from the Chicago Landmarks Commission will meet with the congregation of First Immanuel, via Zoom, at 6:30 pm on Tuesday, July 8.  This is an opportunity for congregation members to learn about the process of applying for landmark status and get your questions answered about the process and the implications of landmark status.  To prepare for the meeting, the Church Council encourages you to review a summary of the Chicago landmark ordinance (which explains the restrictions on and requirements of property owners), and a description of the landmark designation process.  Below is the Zoom meeting link.  This link is also available on the church’s events calendar found on the church website.
