Steps in the Call Process
First Immanuel is currently involved in a call process for a new pastor. We are following the Chicago Metro Synod’s call process for when there is an internal candidate. This process is diagrammed below:

The 12 members of the Call Committee are: Carla Braddock, Fred Brown, Gainelle Cox, Carol Emmons, Larry Karnett, Laurice Karnett, Rachel Lauber, Will Leon, Dennis Malone, Janis Thomas, Jazmyne Thompson and Tyrone Wallace.
How Members Can Participate in the Call Process
Members are encouraged to participate in one of the “Listening Sessions” conducted by Call Committee members during the month of October. Sign-up sheets for these sessions are found in the Narthex. The discussion in these sessions will be guided by the synod’s “Ministry Site Profile” survey. Alternatively, members may complete the Ministry Site Profile survey on their own.
